The challenge

The threshold for finding new activities within your city is too high right now. As of right now, no website combines different types of activities into one easily accessible page. Individuals don't have the time to constantly scour the internet to find new fun activities to take part in that match their interests. People who do not already have an established community, might not be able to find events they're interested in at all. This can lead to social isolation and a decrease in general well-being.

The solution

We propose a social media platform where companies can promote their events, and where individuals can find activities that match their interests. People can also explore new activities they've been wanting to try out and sign up through the website. This way, companies can also see how many people are interested in their activities. We aim to connect users with possible activities near them, creating a sense of community for those who might be experiencing loneliness. Our goal is to connect people to their missing third place; a safe space away from home and work.
